Tips
Goal. The goal in Addiction Solitaire is to sort all four rows in ascending order: 2 to K. Each row must be of the same suit.
NOTE: the game must be beaten before 10 minutes run out
Basics. After the deal, the Aces are removed to create four blank positions. Cards can be moved into blank positions one at a time. Moveable cards are highlighted automatically. You can move cards by dragging or double-clicking.
Moving cards. A card can be moved into a blank spot if it follows the previous card (to the left) in both suit and value. For example, the Four of Spades can be moved to a spot right of the Three of Spades only.
Twos. A Two of any suit can be placed into a leftmost column; once there, it sets the suit for the entire row.
NOTE: choose the suit carefully, it’s a key to success in your game
Kings. A King can be moved (next to a Queen of the same suit), but no card can be moved to the right of a King.
Reshuffle. Three times per game, when you’re out of moves, or at will, the cards can be reshuffled. This will randomly re-deal all the cards except those at their correct value and suit. Please remember the suit is determined by a two in the left column.
Scoring
General formula:
Final score = (the number of cards collected * 5) + Moves Bonus + Time Bonus
Each card collected in the right place is worth 5 points.
NOTE: bonuses are awarded when all cards are collected in the right place
Moves Bonus = (300 - number of moves made) * 2, where 300 is the number of moves allowed, and 2 is the number of points for each unused move.
Time Bonus = 600 (10 min) minus time spent.
Maximum Score = 1460.
