How to play
Word Hunt is a game about using a limited amount of letters to spell words in spaces. Each puzzle provides you with a few letters on the right side in the Letter Pool, and the Word Spaces on the left.
Below, you can find the Boosts and the Options.
The goal, is to find all of the different words in the puzzle, and to proceed to the next level.
In order to find a word, keep your left mouse button clicked on the first letter in the Word Pool, and drag and drop it until you have a word that fits in one of the Word Spaces. Below, you can see the word "Play" being selected.
When inserting a valid word that doesn't fit into the puzzle, you may earn a Bonus Word.
You can check out all of your Bonus Words in the respective icon.
Sometimes, a few word spaces will have coin icons. You can use these to earn extra Coins. Guess the word in the space to earn some Coins. These can later be used in Boosts.
The main menu can be accessed in the top left corner of the screen.
Here, you can turn on and off the sound and music of the game or go back to the initial screen by pressing the home icon.
Tips
In order to get better at playing Word Hunt, be sure to use Boosts to your advantage, as well as Shuffle when you need.
NOTE: Boosts will cost turns or Coins to use.
The first of these Boosts is the Magnifier.
You can use the Magnifier to find specific one random letter in the puzzle. This letter can help you with the complete word.
The second boost is the Light Bulb.
Using the Light Bulb will add one complete word to the puzzle.
The third boost is the Hammer.
The Hammer can reveal any letter of your choice in any of the tiles.
Finally, we have the Flashlight.
It will illuminate several letters along the puzzle.
Along with the Boosts, you can also use the Shuffle to your advantage.
Shuffle will place all of the letters in the Letter Pool in a different order. You can use it as many times as you like.
In this game, you'll also find Boosters to use. Unlike Boosts, Boosters are activated in the beginning of a game each day, and you're able to use the ones you have saved up.
You can see Boosters presented like this each day:
The Signpost will reveal a letter where two words intersect.
The Siren reveals two random letters.
The Dog will reveal a random letter from a challenge word.
You'll be able to select these at the beginning of the game, if you have them available.
Daily Rewards
By playing every day, you'll be able to enjoy a small reward each day when logging in.
When clicking in the Collect icon, you'll be presented with a selection of gifts.
By clicking the one you like and "Collect", you'll be able to add this reward to your total.
Scoring
The game of Word Hunt doesn't have the typical model of scoring the same way other Arkadium titles do. As opposed to other games, the objective of Word Hunt is to overcome different levels and progress.
When finishing levels, you'll be shown a progress bar.
Finishing this progress bar will give you different bonuses, such as Coins and turns for your Boosts.
