Most of our games involve a degree of scoring and skill. This is for our more competitive-minded players to enjoy.

Due to this, our games include a timer. A timer is a clock that evaluates the time taken to complete a round in a game, or a puzzle such as a Sudoku, a Jigsaw or a Crossword. Timers are in place so that a better performance in a lower amount of time to complete a puzzle or a game round, provides players with a time bonus in their final score.

This allows players to compete for higher places in the leaderboard. Timers are a very important part of each of our games, and because of this, they cannot be disabled in most of them.

If you feel like you're currently unable to achieve your desired score, or finish the game before the time provided, check out our Support section on each game. We have tips to let you know how to best play them. Game Guides Portal

We still understand the need that some players have for a more relaxed experience. Should you feel like Arkadium should have more games without timers, be sure to contact Arkadium Support to let us know this.

NOTE: Some games such as Hurdle do not contain a timer, as their scoring systems do not take time into account
